These terms govern your use of the Uzun Qulaq mobile app and website (uzunqulaq.com), operated by Tethreon News Ltd ("we", "us"). By using Uzun Qulaq, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Uzun Qulaq is a news aggregator. It surfaces headlines, short excerpts and images from independent publishers across Central Asia and links you to the full article on the publisher's own website. We organise and personalise this material; we do not claim ownership of the underlying articles, which belong to their respective publishers.

For the full article, you read it on the original source's website. Each source operates under its own terms and editorial standards, and we are not responsible for their content.

2. Your account

You can use Uzun Qulaq as a guest, or sign in with Google for a personalised experience that syncs across your devices. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You may stop using the service and sign out at any time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
scrape, harvest, bulk-download, resell or redistribute content from the service except as expressly permitted (developers and partners: see our API);
interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
reverse-engineer or circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures.

4. Intellectual property

The Uzun Qulaq name, logo, app, website design and software are owned by Tethreon News Ltd and protected by intellectual-property laws. Articles, headlines and images surfaced in the feed remain the property of their original publishers and are shown for the purpose of referral and discovery. Nothing in the service transfers ownership of that material to you.

5. Third-party content and links

The service links to and displays material from third-party sources. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality or availability of third-party content, websites or services. Following a link is at your own discretion and subject to that third party's terms.

6. Developer & partner API

Access to our Partner API is offered separately to approved developers and partners and is governed by the specific terms provided with your API credentials, in addition to these terms.

7. Service "as is"

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that aggregated content is accurate or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tethreon News Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service or any third-party content reached through it.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service, in whole or in part, if you breach these terms or if we need to for legal, security or operational reasons. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tethreon News Ltd is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
