Uzun Qulaq is operated by Tethreon News Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have when you use the Uzun Qulaq mobile app and website (uzunqulaq.com).

Uzun Qulaq is a news aggregator: it shows headlines, short excerpts and images from independent publishers and links you to the original article on the publisher's own site. Those publishers operate their own websites under their own privacy policies.

1. What we collect

Data	Why
Reader ID — an anonymous identifier created on your device the first time you open the app.	To remember your preferences and personalise your feed without requiring an account.
Google account email & name — only if you choose to sign in with Google.	To create your account and sync your personalisation across devices. We never receive your Google password.
Preferences — the content languages, topics and regions you select.	To decide which sources and stories to show you.
Usage & engagement — which articles were shown to you, which you opened, and how long you read.	To rank and personalise your feed and to improve the product.
Technical data — IP address, app version and basic device/request metadata.	To deliver the service reliably and to keep it secure.
Analytics & diagnostics — app-usage events, an app-instance identifier, approximate (IP-based) region, and crash reports, collected via Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics.	To understand how the app is used, measure retention, and find and fix crashes.

The app requests only the Internet permission. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, calendar, or any special-category (sensitive) data, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2. How we use your data

Provide and personalise your news feed and recommendations.
Maintain your account and keep your personalisation in sync across devices.
Understand aggregate usage so we can improve Uzun Qulaq.
Protect the service against abuse, fraud and security threats.
Meet legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service:

Google Cloud Platform — hosting, database and storage (processed in the European Union region, europe-west3).
Google Sign-In — only when you choose to sign in, to verify your identity. Google's handling of your Google account is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics for Firebase & Firebase Crashlytics — to measure app usage and capture crash reports so we can improve stability. They act as our service providers (we don't sell your data), governed by Firebase's privacy and security information.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or the service.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Engagement data is retained only as long as it is useful for personalisation and product analytics, after which it is deleted or aggregated. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see Your rights).

5. Your rights and choices

Use without an account. You can browse as a guest; you are not required to sign in.
Reset your identity. Signing out clears your account from the device and starts a fresh anonymous reader, so your previous personalisation is no longer linked.
Access, correction and deletion. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it — including your account and associated reader history.
Objection. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests.

6. Children

Uzun Qulaq is a general-audience news product and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age required by your local law. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

7. Security & international transfers

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to data is restricted. Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud in the European Union; where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice.
